The Redcat Racing GEN8 V2 International Scout II is the company's first vehicle that has been completely designed and developed in-house in the United States. This rock crawler has rapidly gained popularity in the RC marketplace, with its impressive performance straight out of the box appealing to both RTR enthusiasts and custom-build aficionados.

Boasting a range of performance features, the GEN8 V2 is a highly competitive professional-grade rock crawler. Its highlights include a C-channel frame, a low center of gravity battery tray, a centrally mounted divorced transfer case, a lockable slipper clutch, portal axles with metal gear covers, MOD-1 gears, machined aluminum spools, front CVAs, 32 rubber-sealed ball bearings, threaded aluminum shocks, 47-degree steering blocks with proper Ackerman, a Panhard bar, LED-ready bumpers, and a winch-ready front bumper.

The highly detailed, fully licensed International Scout II body is complemented by a hard plastic grille, plastic folding mirrors, molded inner and outer fenders, a shackle-mount front bumper, a receiver hitch-ready rear bumper, and plastic rock sliders. The body and bumpers are ready to accommodate LED lights.

Ensuring optimal traction and performance, the GEN8 V2 features true-to-scale, licensed Interco IROK Super Swamper tires and functional beadlock wheels. Each wheel uses inner and outer beadlock rings for maximum strength and tire-holding capability. The portal axles provide 54.5mm of ground clearance, along with metal gear covers, metal wheel hexes, and CNC-machined spools.

The innovative dual-design slipper clutch allows the driver to set the slipper clutch or completely lock it out, providing more control over the vehicle's performance. The GEN8 V2 also features a 32P spur gear and MOD 1 gears in the transmission, transfer case, and portal axles, ensuring durability and capability for the most demanding crawling conditions.

The front-mounted motor, divorced transfer case, and 32 rubber-sealed bearings throughout the vehicle contribute to the GEN8 V2's ease of use and versatility in conquering various terrains. The stock configuration offers 73.4mm of ground clearance, a 61-degree approach angle, and a 39.5-degree departure angle.

Furthermore, the GEN8 V2 is highly customizable, with a range of adjustable features, including wheel base, ride height, toe angle, shock positions, approach and departure angle, suspension tuning, and a lockable adjustable slipper clutch. Numerous upgraded parts and 3D-printable options are available, allowing users to unlock the vehicle's full potential.

Rounding out the package, the Redcat Racing GEN8 V2 International Scout II comes equipped with a 17T 550 brushed motor, a waterproof crawler ESC, a Hexfly waterproof steering servo, and a 2.4GHz radio system, providing a complete and capable platform for any RC enthusiast.
